A quick fix...

Just wanted to show you how I updated my night stand with 3 adorable "antique-looking" knobs from Hobby Lobby, a small vintage embroidered scarf/runner from a flea market and a little lamp.

Pretty plane Jane with the stainless knobs that didn't really "go" with our room.
This nightstand has been in my family for at least 20 years. It isn't perfect, but remember, "it doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful"... right?

With the help of these adorable "antiqued" knobs from HL, my nightstand quickly and inexpensively received a new look.

A vintage linen and lamp (also from HL) add simple
and cozy elegance to the stand. (And of course my journal).

Try to see the beauty amid the ugly white walls of our rental.
Oh, and I need to do something about that cord!

I have those same knobs on a piece in my dining room. Don't you just love Hobby Lobby?! I go there at least once a week. I have to admit I went today! Your nightstand looks really cute with the knobs, lamp, and scarf. Great job!!!

New hardware works magic. Seriously. Find a new knob, and get new furniture. Really cute.
