Works-For-Me-Wednesday

The theme for this week's "Works-For-Me-Wednesday" is five ingredients or less recipes. I had to share my Sweet Summertime Mix because it is always such a hit at our "get togethers" and its sooo easy. I am making it for the Fourth of July this week! A great "grab n go" snack!

These are the only ingredients you will need.
1. Dry Roasted Peanuts
2. Plain M&Ms
3. Raisins
4. Milk Chocolate Chips
5. Peanut Butter Chips

There is no "set" amount of each ingredient. Its basically how you like it. I use equal parts of everything except the peanuts. Since the peanuts are the only salty ingredient I add a little extra. But its totally up to you.

1 Bag Milk Chocolate Chips

1 Bag Peanut Butter Chips

Raisins
Dry Roasted Peanuts

Plain M&Ms

Mix It All Together

Put it in a pretty container. This type of container makes for a quick and easy snack!
Another idea is to make rice krispie treats and then top it with this mixture plus small marshmallows. The marshmallows will "bond" the mixture together and it will stay put on top of the treats. A sweet colorful snack!

My family loves this. We use mixed nuts ('cause I love cashews). We take it everywhere. Love your blog!

Oh, that snack look yummy! Found your blog through "Cornflower Cottage". I like your ideas and can't wait to see how you progress. I'm going to add your link on my blog :0).
I think I'll try your recipe for our 4th weekend. I wonder if it will taste good if we add some almonds. I love almonds. Enjoy your day!
