Latest Project

I found these two chairs through craigslist.com...$20 for both. Not too bad! No holes or damage. I don't like the dark green so guess what I did? I whipped out the ol' white spray paint and had me a paintin' par-tay. It's amazing how something ugly can be made beautiful with cheap paint. I need to find some round cushions to complete them. These will look SO cute on the front porch of Rusty Cottage (when we finally get it finished).

Hope you are having a wonderful Thursday! Tomorrow is Friday...woohoo!!!!!

Great find on those chairs, and there is nothing like the class of white wicker! If you have a Garden Ridge Store within an hours drive, it might be worth it to check out their selection of quality outdoor furniture cushions. I made new ones for our patio set last summer because I didn't know about Garden Ridge - theirs are reasonable and beautiful - I couldn't make them as cheaply!

Oh the beauty of white wicker chairs! You have turned them from ugh to elegant. Great job.
I hope you're able to find some pretty little cushions for the finishing touch.
They'll look great sitting on your porch.

What a sweet pair of chairs. The poor dark green just did nothing for them! But the white, now thats what I call class! :)

Seems that white is the new black at this party!
